Deciding on the right package for you?

All of my packages have different options based on location and length of coverage. This is to cover my travel time and costs, but also to ensure we have enough time to properly explore and capture the experience of that location. There are a ton of beautiful options throughout the blue ridge mountains and deciding between them can seem impossible, especially if you aren't local. When deciding between a standard or premium location option, consider asking yourself:

• How close to Asheville, NC do I want to stay? All standard location options are within a ~20 mile radius of Asheville so if you are visiting downtown and don't want to venture too far, a standard location may be all you need. If you are considering other areas within the Blue Ridge Mountains such as waterfalls in Northern Georgia, expansive mountain ranges in Eastern Tennessee, National Parks, etc. then upgrading to a premium location is worth the flexibility.
• How much do I value privacy? Most standard locations are public gardens, parks, or overlooks that will not have as much space to spread out as more remote trails. If you want to avoid people as much as possible, especially for an elopement, I recommend considering a premium location.
• How much effort do I want to put in? If you are looking for quick portraits and don't want to walk much or incorporate any activities (like a picnic, star gazing, a swim, etc.) then a standard location would meet your needs. If you are here for an adventure, and want your day to feel more like a date than a photoshoot, then a premium location will allow us to roam, incorporate activities, and capture candids of the day.

There's no need to settle on a specific location yet! Just consider whether a standard or premium location fits your needs to help you decide on the right photo package for you.

Standard or Premium location?

Standard locations will be closer to Asheville, NC, more accessible, and provide a scenic backdrop for your portraits - whether that is mountain views, gardens, or lake park.

Premium locations provide more privacy and flexibility for remote locations throughout western North Carolina, eastern Tennessee, northern South Carolina, or northern Georgia. They also incorporate more immersive environments such as waterfalls, hiking trails, historic grounds, national parks, etc. so we have more time to explore the beautiful scenery and adventurous activities throughout the area.
