I’m a queer, documentary-style photographer based in Asheville, and I photograph proposals for couples who care about meaning more than spectacle. Couples who want the moment to feel safe, intentional, and real — not staged, rushed, or built for someone else’s expectations.
You can book me just for the moment, for the moment plus an engagement session, or for a fully styled picnic experience that lets you focus on your partner while I handle the details quietly in the background. The experience I offer isn’t just about photos for an announcement on social media. The nerves, the joy, the unexpected curse words. That’s the vibes I'm here for.

Considering proposing and want to talk through your ideas? Schedule your free consult call with me! You don't need a date or location picked out yet. I am happy to brainstorm with you, answer all your questions, and help you decide on a photography package that will make your moment feel special.
II. Plan Your proposal
Once you pick a package and pay the 25% retainer, we will start planning! We will talk through location and proposal options and create a plan you will actually feel confident pulling off. I am here to support you start to finish.
III. Create and relive your memories
On the day of our session, I will facilitate our plan so all you have to do is sit back and enjoy it! After the session, you will receive your sneak peeks within 24-48 hours, and final gallery within 4 weeks. I will provide guidance on any editing requests, how to download and order prints, etc.
FAQ
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! My standard payment plan requires a 25% retainer to reserve your date, and then 25% payments 90 days, 60 days, and 30 days out from your session.
My extended payment plan still requires the 25% retainer to book, but then the remaining balance is split between 45 days before, two weeks before, and two weeks after your session date.
Do I have to have a location & date selected?
Definitely not! If you do have a specific vision, I am happy to work together to make that happen. For most couples I work with, they reach out with a general date range and desire to explore, and we identify the right location together.
Whats the difference between standard & premium locations?
Standard locations are accessible options within a 20 miles radius of AVL including parks, downtown, private residences, or some BRP overlooks.
Premium locations include scenic options like mountain views requiring hiking, waterfall trails, or expanded travel throughout WNC, SC, Eastern TN, and Northern GA.
How many photos will I receive?
I typically include ALL good images from your session. I list a minimum per package as a starting reference, but on average I deliver ~50 photos per hour of photo coverage.
What is your turnaround time?
I always share a handful of sneak peaks with you within 24-48 hours. You can expect to receive your full online gallery no later than 4 weeks from your session date (though most often I try to get your images to you within 1-2 weeks).
Do you travel?
All of my adventure sessions are designed for experiences within the blue ridge mountain range, including parts of North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Georgia. If you would like to work with me, but have an alternative location in mind - i'm absolutely open to discussing that option with you.
What if we are awkward in front of a camera?
I get this question almost every session and I can promise you, you will love your photos regardless. This photoshoot isn't about perfect posing. My process is designed to make you as comfortable as possible so you are relaxed during your session and can capture organic expression and connection. Don't believe me?
